The Canaries quest for a three-game sweep over the T-Bones was put down by an explosive Kansas City offense, as they battled back for the 8-6 victory Wednesday night. The T-Bones had been limited to four runs in the first two games of the series but broke out in big fashion in the final contest. CF Rick Prieto, 2B Taber Maier and SS Jack Jones had three hits apiece, leading a 19-hit attack by the T-Bones.

Merrigan needed no more than Pagan provided as the Canaries' all-time home run leader hit a two-run shot in the fifth inning. Pagan finished the evening 3-4 with two runs scored and four driven in.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. � Nate Sevier struggled for the second straight outing as the T-Bones fell to the Goldeyes of Winnipeg 12-4. Rusty Keith was the offensive star for Winnipeg as he had two hits and four RBI by the third inning. His single in the second inning scored the first run and his three run homerun in the third put Winnipeg ahead 7-0. The homerun was Keith�s first of the year.

Strong pitching and timely hitting lead to the T-Bones first double header sweep at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Eddie Pearson and Sean Murphy walked out of the stadium as heroes as each collected game winning hits. Eddie�s homerun won the first game 3-2 in the 14th inning and Sean�s single in the 7th won the second game 5-4. Both walk-off hits came with two outs.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. � The T-Bones hopes to salvage a game from the first place Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks were thwarted by a masterful pitching performance by Fargo starting pitcher Jodie Kennedy (3-1). Kennedy recorded the second shutout in the league this season and the first nine-inning shutout. T-Bones starter Nate Sevier notched a shutout in a shortened seven inning game against Gary earlier this year.

The T-Bones introduced their bullpen to the home town fans the hard way. Local starting pitcher Tommy Thomas struggled with control tonight with 3BB and a walked in run in the first inning. This game is the third to date that a run was scored in the first inning off of a T-Bones pitcher. Thomas was sent off the mound in the second inning with 4BB, 34 pitches, and 13 strikes.

(June 5, 2003) In Kansas City�s final game of its 13-game, season-opening road trip, the T-Bones fell 3-1 to the Saltdogs Thursday night in front of 3,504 fans at Haymarket Park. For Kansas City pitcher Nathan Sevier, it was his first loss of the season, now at 2-1. He allowed three runs and six hits in six innings. He also walked four and struck out six.

Nate Sevier and Tony Gomes picked up victories in the Kansas City T-Bones double header sweep of the Joliet Jackhammers. The sweep marked the T-Bones second consecutive sweep of a double header at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. The other occurred on June 13 against the Winnipeg Goldeyes.

(June 2, 2003) 3,294 fans were in attendance Monday evening to watch the Kansas City T-Bones take on the Lincoln Saltdogs at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, Nebraska, in game two of this four-game series. The T-Bones, who are currently 4-5-1, lost to the Saltdogs 2-0, after Lincoln starter Doug Johnston (1-2) allowed just 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5 over 6.1 innings. This is the T-Bones� second loss against the Saltdogs during this series.
