KANSAS CITY � Coming off a season which saw them win the second-half Southern Division title in only their second year of existence, the Kansas City T-Bones released their 2005 schedule on Thursday. The 2005 season, which once again will feature 96 games, will also welcome two expansion teams in Alberta, Canada, as well as a slightly realigned league.

The St. Paul Saints rallied for an incredible ninth inning comeback on Sunday, defeating the Schaumburg Flyers, 10-6 to capture the 2004 Northern League Championship Series, three games to two. The game was played at Midway Stadium in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Kansas City first baseman Ray Brown was named Northern League Player of the Month for August and September, the league office announced Monday. Brown batted .402 (51-for-127) with a six homers and 31 RBI in 31 games in that period. As well, Brown led the circuit in doubles with 14, slugging percentage (.654) and on-base percentage (.469). Brown also enjoyed a 17-game hitting streak from August 11-30, one shy of the league high for the season.
