The T-Bones Saturday night game will be postponed until Sunday, Aug. 31 at 1:05 p.m. due to the weather. The two games tomorrow will be separate games in a day-night double-header. The postponed Saturday game will be played at 1:05 p.m., and the regularly scheduled Sunday game will be played at the regular time of 5:05 p.m. both games will be seven innings.

Until further notice from the general manager, the game will still go on tonight as scheduled. The ball field has a state-of-the-art drainage system, which will allow the field to dry out quickly. The T-Bones had a big third inning last night with five runs. Northern League award winner Rick Prieto went three for four last night, accounting for two runs scored. The T-Bones other Northern League Award winner Eddie Pearson added to his four RBIs to his record and brought his his batting average .372 for the year.

The Kansas City T-Bones will donate weather radios to members of the Coalition for Independence on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003. The weather radios are being donated because of the storms that ripped through Kansas City, Kansas earlier in the year. The Coalition of Independence (CFI) was selected as the recipients of this donation, because of the concern the T-Bones organization has for those with disabilities in an emergency situation.

Both Eddie Pearson and Rick Prieto were named as Northern League award winners for their respective positions. Eddie received the best Designated Hitter Award, and Rick received the one of the Best Outfielder Awards. Pearson was also named the league�s Most Valuable Player for the year.

Tonight�s game was a nail-biter for Kansas City. The T-Bones and Flyers were tied 2-2 from the second inning to the seventh inning, when Kansas City scored two more runs. Feeling confident that the T-Bones would be victorious, Jason Davis came in for starter Jon McDonald, who pitched a commendable seven innings with six hits and only two runs. Davis closed out the top of the eighth, and things were looking good for the T-Bones as closer D.J Johnson took the mound in the top of the ninth.

On the first pitch, Geoff McCallum doubled up the middle, and advanced to third on an error. The Flyers scored three runs in the first inning, but more Schaumburg scoring was on the horizon.

After a hard fought battle to get the tie for first in the division, the T-Bones have a rough night in Lincoln, losing 11-5. McDonald gave up eight hits for five runs, and Hoyt, Davis and Felkel couldn�t stop the Lincoln bats as well. Hoyt who received the loss (0-1) gave up four hits with two runs in 3.2 innings pitched.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored a run in the eighth and one more in the ninth to defeat the Kansas City T-Bones 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo. The win moved Fargo-Moorhead to 44-20 on the season and 12-7 in the second half. Kansas City dropped to 30-34 overall and 10-9 in the second half. Doug Young (2-0) earned the victory for Fargo-Moorhead. Tony Gomes (2-4) took the loss for Kansas City.
