08/28/2003 9:51 AM - Both Eddie Pearson and Rick Prieto were named as Northern League award winners for their respective positions. Eddie received the best Designated Hitter Award, and Rick received the one of the Best Outfielder Awards. Pearson was also named the league’s Most Valuable Player for the year.

Eddie has been a consistent league leader in batting average (.364), home runs (14), and RBIs (73), and Rick has been a consistently good player all season long as one of the league leaders in batting average (.335), hits (110), and is among the best in triples (7).

The Kansas City T-Bones want to thank Eddie and Rick for their outstanding efforts, and the entire team for making the inaugural season a great success.
