Biography:
IF Ramsey Romano has proven to be a big find for the T-Bones. He appeared in the final spring game but the team did not have room for him at the time. He would join the club the second week of the season and has pitched and played second and third for KC. He was also pretty versatile before he joined the T-Bones. Romano went to the University of Michigan for a year and played quarterback along with being part of the baeball team. As a Senior in high school he threw 30 TD’s and for 3,415 yards averaging 296 yards a game passing before choosing to go the fulltime baseball route. He was such a good golfer as a kid that he participated in the Junior World Championships in Georgia and finished in the top 20 in his division. He also has won a Junior College National Championship at Yuvapai College in Arizona hitting .410 his sophomore season at Yuvapai and helped the Roughriders win the 2016 Junior College National Championship. He would finish his career as a “Dirt Bag” the colorful nickname of Long Beach State Baseball. To top it all off he might have been your Uber driver at some point and he has recently commandeered a vintage 1980’s RV and has turned it into his house of wheels. He used the RV to land a tryout in KC coming from the west coast where he traveled in the spring trying to land a job with a professional ball club. His emergency opportunity in the last spring game against Winnipeg came due to the T-Bones not having enough position players to field a team. His only spring game he hit a home run in his first at bat. He would be called back to the club a week later when a roster spot opened up.
