Biography:

On Febuary 22nd the T-Bones for the third in three years signed Christian Correa . This is the third time Correa has spent time with the T-Bones.

Christian Correa would spend spring training 2018 with the T-Bones, but he was traded on May 15th to the Sussex County Miners in the Can-Am League for a player to be named later, just prior to opening day. Correa had his rights reacquired via trade from Sussex County on October 8, 2018. At Sussex County, Correa played in 50 games, hitting .292 with two home runs and 26 RBIs.

Correa began the 2017 season with the Houston Astros organization before joining the T-Bones on May 17th and starting behind the plate on opening night. At High A Buies Creek, Correa played in 16 games and hit .208 with one home run and four RBIs in the Carolina League before being released by Houston. With the T-Bones, Correa played in eight games for the season, hitting .215 with one home run and five RBIs. His one homer was an inside-the-park round trip on May 30th at Gary SouthShore.

On June 3, 2017, Correa became the 28th T-Bones player whose contract has been sold to a major-league organization when the Colorado Rockies signed him and assigned him to Boise in the Northwest League. He would play in four games, going 1-for-12 with one RBI. Correa, a native of Coconut Creek, Florida, was a non-drafted free agent for Houston out of Nicholl State University (LA).  Behind the plate Correa caught 46% (18 of 39) of base runners in 2016 and caught three in 15 attempts for Kansas City in 2017.

In 2014, his junior year at Nicholls, Correa made 48 starts in 55 appearances in his first season as a Colonel. He recorded 36 hits and 20 runs with six doubles and a home run on the season. Correa played at Chipola College prior to going to Nicholls where he earned consecutive spots on the All-Panhandle Conference Team as a freshman and sophomore while also being selected to the All-State Tournament team in Region 8. Correa hit .291 in 2013 with 41 hits, 26 RBIs and three stolen bases. Correa would also earn a spot on the dean's list for the 2012 spring semester.

Correa played his high school ball at North Broward Prep in the Miami area and was an All-County selection by the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald, while being named a regional All-American by Under Armour. In the classroom Correa also succeeded; he was a consistent honor roll student at North Broward Prep.
