KANSAS CITY, Kan. – With overwhelming feelings of excitement and happiness, Trinia Farrens said “I do,” in front of thousands at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on what was considered by many as one of the luckiest days of the century. Farrens’s boyfriend of four years, David George, proposed to her on July 7, 2007 (7-7-07) in honor of the date with superstitious associations.

Helzberg Diamonds sponsored the engagement which took place during the 7th inning of a T-Bones home game against the Winnipeg Goldeyes and also provided the couple with the diamond ring for the special day. George, as well as many others around the world, popped the question on this exceptional day with the hope that luck would provide them with a positive, long lasting marriage.
