In seven games during the week, McClain batted .379 (11-for-29) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. McClain also hit three doubles and a triple to go along with his home run, and compiled a .655 slugging percentage for the week.

McClain batted 4-for-4 including a triple and two doubles, scored two runs, and drove in two to lead Edmonton to a 9-7 win over Joliet in Game one of a doubleheader on August 22. On the season, McClain is batting .296 with 6 home runs and a club-best 58 RBIs.

In two starts during the week, Woodman went 1-0, 1.29 ERA. In 14 innings of work, Woodman yielded just 8 hits and two runs while striking out 20 batters.
