T-Bones Set New Attendance Mark

08/23/2006 10:34 PM - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones reached yet another milestone Wednesday night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark by establishing a new club attendance record for the third straight season. In just 43 home dates thus far, the T-Bones have eclipsed their previous single-season total attendance record of 244,414, set just a year ago.

After averaging 4,610 fans per game in their inaugural season in 2003, the T-Bones have enjoyed steady attendance growth over the past three years. Wednesday’s crowd of 5,479 brought the 2006 total attendance to 249,884, for an average of 5,811 per game and a 26.1% increase since 2003.

With 4,365 reserved seats at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, the T-Bones are currently drawing 133% of capacity, which is the highest rate in all of professional baseball.

The T-Bones also rank fourth among all independent clubs in average attendance per game this season.

The T-Bones would like to thank you, baseball fans of Kansas City, for all of your support and dedication in making these achievements possible.
