Krysa Halts Schaumburg, Losing Streak in 5-2 Victory Krysa (9-3) gave up just four hits and a pair of unearned runs in his seven innings of work, as the T-Bones snapped a four-game losing streak and defeated the Flyers for just the fourth time in 15 meetings this season. The T-Bones took a 1-0 lead in the second on Chad Sosebee's sacrifice fly, but handed the Flyers a pair of runs the following inning when second baseman Darryl Lawhorn misplayed a Chris Weekly popup with two on and two out, giving the visitors a 2-1 advantage. J.D. Foust promptly erased the T-Bones' deficit in the bottom half of the third, delivering a lead-off homer off Schaumburg lefty Dave Dobosz to even the score at two runs apiece. Two batters later Charles Peterson unevened the score when he clubbed his 10th home run of the season for a 3-2 Kansas City lead. After the T-Bones added single tallies in the fourth and sixth innings to take a three-run lead, Krysa gave way to his bullpen and watched Buddy Blair and Logan McElwain (Save) combine to retire six of the final seven Schaumburg hitters to wrap up the victory. Foust finished the night 2-for-5 with 2 RBI's, and Peterson and Doug Dreher each chipped in with two hits apiece to lead the Kansas City offense. Game three of the four-game set will kick off at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, when T-Bones will send RHP Larry Robles (3-3, 3.08) to the mound to oppose Schaumburg right-hander Matt Bailie (1-2, 4.28).
