06/26/2006 10:05 PM - Kansas City T-Bones outfielder Greg Jacobs has been named Northern League Player of the Week for June 19th-25th after batting .433 with three homers and nine RBI in seven games this past week.

Jacobs, 29, posted his third four-hit game of the season in the T-Bones' 9-2 win over Joliet on June 20 and recorded four multi-hit games to help the T-Bones go 4-3 last week. The Southern California native also drove home the tying and go-ahead runs in a 7-5 victory over Gary SouthShore Friday evening.

Entering play Monday evening Jacobs is hitting .358, good for second in the Northern League, while his 13 doubles and .467 on-base percentage lead the circuit.
