07/03/2003 3:59 PM - Sioux City was one out away from a one run victory but saw their chance slip away when an error in the bottom of the ninth brought home the tying run for the T-Bones. The T-Bones took advantage of the extra innings in the 12th inning when C Chad Shindle's RBI single scored the game winning run. The X's got on board first with a run in the fourth and pushed their lead to 2-0 with another in the sixth. But the T-Bones countered with a run in the seventh, and tied the game in ninth. Kansas City reliever Brian Ford pitched one inning to pick of the win, and closer D.J. Johnson earned his eighth save.
