Vipers Visit T-Bones For Three-Game Set

06/06/2005 2:13 PM - Monday night's match-up is the first ever meeting between the T-Bones and Vipers. Calgary is fresh off their first series win, taking two of three from Gary, defeating the Southshore Railcats by a score of 9-2 Sunday. The Vipers' .295 batting average is good for fourth in the league and is paced by outfielder Drew Miller's sizzling .380 season clip.

The T-Bones are coming off a three-game series sweep against the Schaumburg Flyers. Sunday's rubber match ended in dramatic fashion when rookie third baseman Brandon Jones launched a game-winning walk-off shot against former T-Bone hurler John Howerton. Jones enters the series hitting .310 with four homers and 14 RBI. His home run and RBI totals are good for second on the team behind slugger Eddie Pearson's respecitve numbers (7 HR, 16 RBI).

The three games against Calgary are the last in the T-Bones' longest nine-game homestand of the season, so come out to the park and enjoy the upcoming promotions. Monday is Ladies Night, presented by Winkler's Diamonds where gals get a dollar off ticket admission and great jewelry prizes are at stake. Tuesday night is Dollar Dog Night, where hot dogs are just a buck. Following Wednesday’s game, fans can participate in the Post-Game Catch on the Field presented by Sonic.
