KANSAS CITY, Kan.– The Kansas City T-Bones announced today that the club has signed former Minnesota Twins prospect outfielder Adam Walker for the 2018 season.

Adam Walker comes to Kansas City following a 2017 season where he saw playing time at three different AAA clubs and a pair of AA clubs. He opened the season at AAA Gwinnett with the Atlanta Braves where he played in 10 games with a homer and four RBIs. At AA Mississippi in the Southern League, Walker would play 14 games with four home runs and 12 RBIs. Walker would be released by Atlanta on May 9^th of last year but would sign with the Baltimore Orioles organization on June 10^th.  He was then assigned to AA Bowie in the Eastern League where he played in 12 games with six long balls and 12 RBIs for the Bay Sox. Baltimore moved Walker to AAA Norfolk where he drove in 15 runs in 18 games with three home runs.  On July 23^rd Baltimore released Walker, but he was signed by Cincinnati on August 4^th and would go on to play in 25 games at AAA Louisville, hitting .207 with three home runs and 15 RBIs.  In 79 games combined last season, he hit .190 with 15 home runs and 46 RBIs. 

In 2015 and 2016, Walker had back-to-back outstanding seasons for the Minnesota Twins organization. In 2016, at AAA Rochester, he led the Red Hawks with 27 home runs and 75 RBIs while hitting .247 in 137 games. He would finish second in home runs to current Milwaukee Brewer Jesus Aguilar, who had 30, and five spots ahead of New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge, who had 19 that season at AAA. 

The 2015 season saw Walker lead the AA Southern League and the Chattanooga Lookouts with 31 home runs and 106 RBIs. He was the only player to drive in over a hundred runs (106) in the league. He would hit .239 with the Chattanooga Lookouts, hitting 31 doubles— second for the club, adding 13 stolen bases.  The Twins added Walker to the 40-man roster following the 2015 season. 

At High A Fort Meyers in 2014 Walker would hit .246 in 132 games while leading the Miracle with 25 home runs and 94 RBIs. Walker had a career and team high 109 RBIs in 2013 at Low A Cedar Rapids while hitting 27 Midwest League-leading home runs. He would earn Topps Midwest League Player of the year honors for his 2013 performance.

The native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin began his career with the Twins in 2012 in the rookie level Appalachian League. There he would hit .250 in 53 games, leading the team in home runs and coming in second to future Big Leaguer Max Kepler in RBIs with 45.  Kepler was four ahead in RBIs but trailed Walker in the long ball department by four. 

Waker was the Twins 3^rd round pick in the June draft out of Jacksonville University where he hit .359 in his three years with the Dolphins with 41 home runs and 174 RBIs. In 2011 he was the A-Sun Player of the Year.
