KANSAS CITY, Kan. –  The Kansas City T-Bones announced today that the club has exercised the 2018 option on OF Tyler Horan, INF Jerome Pena, RHP Kamakani Usui, and INF Chase McDonald. The four players join the original 22 player options the club announced previously on October 4^th. With the release of INF Paul Hendrix, the team now holds 25 player options for the upcoming season:

The option means that the players still need to be signed to contracts for the 2018 season, but Kansas City retains their rights. The T-Bones just completed their second-best season in franchise history going 57-43 in 2017, under first year Manager Joe Calfapietra.
