One of our major sponsors got a major designation recently.

The emergency room at Providence Medical Center has been designated as a Level IV trauma center by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

“As part of the state’s trauma network, good communication between EMS and other designated trauma facilities ensures patients are properly evaluated and taken to the hospital with the most appropriate resources as quickly as possible,” Dr. Stephen Lowry, surgeon and director of the trauma center, said in the "Business West Bulletin."

Providence Medical Center provides health and first aid services at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. The ticket office at CommunityAmerica Ballpark also happens to be the Providence Medical Center Box Office.
