Explorers Handle KC in Series Opener

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Kansas City T-Bones dropped their second consecutive game Friday night, 10-2 against Sioux City.

The T-Bones took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning, courtesy of an Anothony Gallas RBI single to drive in Starlin
Rodriguez and a sacrifice fly from Jake Blackwood.

The Explorers, down 2-0 would rattle off 10 un-answered runs including three in the fifth inning to knock Kansas City
starting pitcher Casey Barnes (1-2) out of the game. Barnes was charged with seven runs in five innings of work. The
Exolorers, who were one-hit on Wednesday in Fargo, rattled off 13 hits to snap a two game losing streak.

The T-Bones committed three errors in the loss, and only got one hit after the second inning (Jake Blackwood double in ninth).

The T-Bones (7-9) will play their 10th game of the road-trip Saturday against Sioux City (7-8). First pitch is scheduled for 7:00pm,
