The T-Bones got a great pitching performance by starting pitcher Johnny Shuttlesworth (1-1), and blasted four home runs in the series opening win.

Shuttlesworth allowed two runs over five plus innings, and struck out six Saints to pickup his first win of the season. Kansas City scored one run
in the fourth inning, but scored five in the fifth inning against Saints starting pitcher Jeff Shields (1-1).

Tyler Massey, who had been scuffling offensively for Kansas City over the previous seven games, broke out with three hits, including a two-run home
run in the fifth inning. Massey also doubled twice and drove in a team high three runs. Vladimir Frias and Steve Swingle also homered for the first
time this season, and Anthony Gallas hit his third of the season Thursday night.

Kansas City's bullpen which featured Brett Zawacki and Jared Messer pitched three and two third scoreless innings in relief.

The T-Bones (4-4) will send out Jeremy Strawn (0-1) against the Saints (6-2) John Straka (1-0) Friday night at CHS Field. First pitch is scheduled for
