11/01/2004 2:04 PM - 2003 Northern League MVP Eddie Pearson and 2004 Aug/Sept Player of the Month Ray Brown received accolades for their performance in 2004, as "Thunder and Lightning" led the T-Bones to a second half South Division title.

Pearson was named the first-team designated hitter on the All-Star squad. In earning his spot, Pearson smacked 30 home runs and drove in 94 runs while hitting .330. The month of June was especially sizzling for the native of Mobile, AL, who batted .418 while driving in 31 runs in the first full month of the season. Pearson didn't cool down, hitting thirteen longballs in the month of August while helping the T-Bones to the playoffs for the first time.

Ray Brown was selected as the second-team designated hitter for the independent league all-star squad. Brown heated up as the summer went on, earning Northern League Player of the Month honors for the month of August. In helping the T-Bones to their second half crown, Brown hit .417 with five homers and a season-high 28 runs.
