Occasionally on tbonesbaseball.com during the offseason, we’re featuring a member of the T-Bones’ front office with a “Prime 9.” This installment features radio broadcaster Nathan Moore, who became the “Voice of the T-Bones” prior to the 2013 season.

1. My hero growing up was: My grandpa. I used to spend weeks of my childhood each summer in Oklahoma with him. My parents divorced when I was young, so going down there was a chance to "get away" and learn many things. Unfortunately, our family lost him to cancer too soon. He was, and always will be, one of my best friends.
 
2. My favorite highlight of working with the T-Bones has been: This really isn't a fair question, because I think that everyday I get a chance to broadcast a game, is another "highlight." 2016 will be my fourth season, but the one highlight that sticks out is when Lucas Irvine pitched a one-hitter against Fargo three years ago. I also enjoy being able to witness the Vladimir Frias Show every night. He's a special talent.
 
3. My favorite thing about Kansas City is: Selfishly for me, it's because 99% of my family lives here in Kansas City. Overall though, I think we can all attest how close our city truly is after what the Royals did last year. I have never seen our communities closer than they are now. It's truly special to see how excited and responsive this city became after last year.
 
4. My favorite sports team, besides the T-Bones of course, is: This might be the toughest question for me personally. I live and breathe baseball which is why I work in baseball year round, so as much as it pains me, I'm not going to pick the Royals even though it's almost a virtual tie. I'm a die-hard New York Jets fan. I know, I know... I'm cursed.
 
5. My favorite TV show is: I don't get to watch much television, but when I do, I have several shows I enjoy. My favorite... right now would have to be Scorpion.

6. My favorite movie is: The Blindside or Invincible. Pretty much any sports movie.

7. My favorite musician/band or type of music is: I'm a big fan of country music, based on living in the middle of nowhere when I was younger. George Strait and Montgomery Gentry are a couple of my favorites.
 
8. The best advice I’ve ever received is: Make your own choices, based on what makes you happy. Don't let something drive you that doesn't hold your greater good.
 
9. If I could meet one person in history, living or dead, it would be: Another tough one, so I’ll pick one living and one who has passed. Right now, it would be Curtis Martin of New York Jets fame. He was one of my favorite players growing up, and is a hall of fame running back. If I could go back to someone who has passed, I would choose Lewis and Clark. I can't think of a better group of storytellers. Just imagine the stories of exploring a whole new world. I could never do what they did, but I think it would be awesome to hear it through them.
