Our wishes for 2016

01/01/2016 5:11 AM -

As we head into 2016, here at tbonesbaseball.com we thought it would be fun to get New Year’s wishes from front-office personnel. So, we asked a few people this question: What’s your wish for 2016? (After the first two, it’s in alphabetical order.)

“I wish for a happy, healthy fun year for my family, friends and all of T-Bones’ nation. And to win our final game of the year at home. THE final game of the year, standing on the field at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, surrounded by our staff, players and ownership with champagne in our hands and eyes (sorry, no goggles. Old school.), while hoisting the 2016 American Association championship flag! Cheers.”
Chris Browne, Vice-President and General Manager

"For Jake Blackwood to hit a walk-off grand slam in bottom of 16th inning to beat St. Paul in Game 5 of the American Association championship as 10,000 fans rush the field at CommunityAmerica Ballpark and dog pile Jake.”
John Massarelli, Manager

“As a life-long Kansas Citian, going back to the 1970s, I hope this is our city’s finest baseball summer ever, which means a second-consecutive World Series title for the Royals and an American Association championship for the T-Bones. On a personal level, I wish for good health for my family and friends.”
Matt Fulks, Sr. Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations

“My main wish for 2016 is to not have a single rained-out T-Bones game. I also want the T-Bones to be recognized as Organization of the Year in the American Association. On a more personal level, I would like to read at least 25 new books, and move to a nice apartment in downtown Kansas City. I also wouldn't complain if I won a big cash prize in 2016 for something.”
Jon Greene, Account Executive

“My wish for 2016 is to see the T-Bones make a deep playoff push that culminates in a championship, a Chiefs Super Bowl win, and health and happiness for my family and friends.”
Stephen Hardwick, Director of Group Sales

“My wish for 2016 is for continued health and happiness. We were blessed in 2015 with a great T-Bones’ group, and a championship season for the Kansas City Royals. This will be my fourth season with the T-Bones, and I hope it's the best of them all. I can't wait to see everyone on opening day at CommunityAmerica Ballpark!”
Nathan Moore, Broadcaster

“My wish for 2016 is for health and happiness for my family and me, along with a championship for the Kansas City T-Bones this upcoming year!”
Bryan Porting, Sponsorship Coordinator

“My wish is for the world to find peace and joy in everyone’s lives. I also wish the best 2016 season for the T-Bones. Happy New Year!”
Karen Slaughter, Bookkeeper
