In his second season with the T-Bones, Kris Regas pitched in 31 games, 13 of which he started. The left-handed Regas finished the 2015 season—his 13th in professional baseball— with a 6-5 record and 4.84 ERA. Additionally, he has 24 saves in two seasons, including a club single-season record 22 in 2014. But, who is the man on the mound? Allison McBrien of tbonesbaseball.com caught up with Regas in this installment of Prime 9.

My biggest pet peeve is…people who don’t pull out into the intersection when there is a green light and they’re turning left.

If I were stranded on an island, the two things I would need to survive are…my two cats I love dearly, Cheeto and Pippi.

My pregame ritual is…nothing special; I don’t really have any superstitions. I go in there and get warm, I try to do as little as possible. I do a few warm-up throws, warm-up pitches, and try not to think too much.

If I was on Dancing with the Stars, my go-to dance move would be…nothing, I do not dance. My go-to dance move would not exist and I would not be on Dancing with the Stars.

The best thing about playing in Kansas City is…the fans. I’ve had a great time with my teammates the past couple years, but Kansas City is one of the best places to play in the American Association largely because of the fans.

The first baseball team I ever played on was…the A’s, it was a T-ball team in the Chicago area, and all the teams in the league were named after big-league teams.

Three items that are always in my fridge are…coffee grounds, to keep them cool and fresh. Meat of some sort—I have to have meat. And eggs.

My favorite subject in school was…math. (Editor’s Note: Although he’s not planning on doing it this year, Regas has been a college math teacher during his offseasons.)

If I could meet anyone in history, it would it be…Jesus, hands down.
