LINCOLN, Neb. – The Kansas City T-Bones belted three home runs and shutout Lincoln, 11-0, Saturday night at Haymarket Park.

The T-Bones used a six-run second inning, capped off by a Nate Tenbrink grand slam, to get an early 6-0 lead. Lincoln starting pitcher Kevin McGovern (3-4) allowed nine earned runs on eight hits.

Tenbrink, who entered the game with two home runs on the season, doubled that mark, by adding his second of the game in the eighth inning. Tenbrink also added a two run double in the sixth inning to round out his night with seven RBIs, pushing his season total to 30. His seven RBIs tied a T-Bones record for a single game. Two other players have recorded seven RBIs in one game, most recently on July 3, 2009, by Ryan Fox at Schaumburg. Robby Kuzdale belted his team-leading seventh home run of the season in the ninth inning.

Kansas City starting pitcher Kris Regas (4-3) picked up the win, spinning six shutout innings on just three hits. Josh Tols and Jared Messer completed the shutout, with three scoreless innings in relief.

The T-Bones received multi-hit games from Tenbrink (3), Jake Blackwood (2), Adam Bailey (2), Robby Kuzdale (2) and James Boddicker (2).

The T-Bones outscored Lincoln 29-3 over the four game series, and went 3-1 against the Saltdogs. In total, the T-Bones completed the eight-game road trip with a 5-3 record.

The T-Bones (29-20) return to CommunityAmerica Ballpark Sunday night against Gary SouthShore with a 5:05 p.m. first pitch. Tickets are available by calling the Providence Medical Center Box Office at CommunityAmerica Ballpark at 913-328-5618.
