T-Bones win first 2015 exhibition gameThe T-Bones scored two runs in the first inning and went on to beat Wichita 5-1 in Kansas City's first exhibition game of 2015. Robby Kuzdale led off Kansas City's half of the first with a triple, and scored when Adam Bailey knocked a two-out single to right. Kansas City area native Nate Tenbrink then doubled to deep left-center, scoring Bailey and giving Kansas City a 2-0 lead. Bailey helped the T-Bones take a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the third with a double that scored another Kansas City product, Jake Blackwood, from first. Bailey and former KU basketball player C.J. Henry each led the T-Bones with two hits. T-Bones starter Fernando Hernandez allowed one run and six hits in five innings. The T-Bones continue their six-game home exhibition schedule Wednesday night against Lincoln at 7:05.
