KANSAS CITY, Kan. –The Kansas City T-Bones announced today that single-game tickets for the 2015 season go on sale next week. Wyandotte County residents can begin purchasing tickets on Tuesday, March 24, while all fans can purchase tickets on Thursday, March 26, for all 2015 regular-season games at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, including Opening Day on May 22 against the Lincoln Saltdogs.

During the 50-game regular-season schedule at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, the T-Bones will play host to each American Association team at least once, including the Joplin Blasters, the league’s newest team, which will be in Kansas City Aug. 5-7 and Aug. 21-23. Joplin is one of three teams that will make two trips to CommunityAmerica Ballpark, along with Amarillo and Fargo-Moorhead. The longest homestand of the 2015 season is eight games, which is scheduled twice. In the first one, July 19-26, the T-Bones are scheduled to face Gary SouthShore for four games, followed by Winnipeg for four games. The second is the final homestand of 2015, Aug. 27-Sept. 3, when St. Paul will be in Kansas City for an extended weekend series and then Laredo for the last four home games of the season.

Although they’re off Memorial Day, the T-Bones are home during Memorial Day weekend, including fireworks on Sunday night, and on the Fourth of July.

The month-by-month breakdown of the 50 home games: May (6), June (9), July (15), August (17) and September (3). Monday-Saturday games are still 7:05 p.m. starts but the majority of Sunday games will begin at 1:05 p.m. The following are exceptions:

•    May 24 (Sunday) — Memorial Day weekend game — 7:05 p.m. start
•    June 10 and July 8 (Wednesdays) — School Day games — 11:05 a.m. starts
•    July 5, 19 and Aug. 9 (Sundays) — 5:05 p.m. starts

“There is a lot of excitement about the new state-of-the-art HD video board, plus opening on a Friday night for a change will be fun,” said T-Bones vice-president and general manager Chris Browne. “I am thrilled with our roster on the baseball side at this point. This has a chance to be a lucky 13th season for the T-Bones!”

Dates and times for games are subject to change, and are weather permitting.

Additionally, the T-Bones will announce the 2015 promotions in mid-April.

“Our marketing staff has been working on some fun nights for 2015,” Browne said, “including “Back to the Future” Night on June 5, a Sizzle Oyo figurine giveaway for the kids on July 8, a Jake Blackwood player bobblehead giveaway on July 21, Redneck Weekend, autograph appearance by Royals 1985 World Series hero Buddy Biancalana on August 7, and Elvis Tribute Night on August 18.”
