Who is your favorite superhero and why? “I don’t really have one because I feel like they’re just not real, but Wolverine seems pretty cool.”
What is your go to dance move?
“I have a couple that I always go to, but I’ve been told they’re not very good. The guys give me a hard time so I just keep it simple with the two-step.”
Do you have any lucky pre-game rituals?
“I have done the same routine forever. I go with the hot tub, and then I want to be in the shower an hour before the game. I don’t do anything too crazy. I just like to stay in my routine as far as when I am at the plate and on deck.”
What was the name of the first baseball team you played on as a kid? “It was Carolina Steel and Wire. It was a little league team and that was our sponsor so the business name was the name of our team. I’ll never forget it. I was 11 years old.”
What’s the funniest walk up song you have heard?
“I’ve heard some guy come up with Justin Bieber. I think it’s awful. It was awful. I didn’t understand the angle.”
What animal scares you most?
“I don’t like snakes because I feel like I can’t see them and they can just bite me when I don’t know they’re there.”
What’s you biggest pet peeve?
“Rudeness. I just like people to be polite.”
What is one item you couldn’t live without? “You want to say something like iPhone, but that sounds pretty terrible so I would say family.”
What three food items are always in your kitchen? “Eggos, milk and eggs.”
