SIOUX FALLS, SD. – The Kansas City T-Bones took game two of the three-game series in Sioux Falls Saturday night, leading wire-to-wire in an 11-4 rout of the Canaries at Sioux Falls Stadium.

The T-Bones got the scoring started in the second inning when Jairo Perez reached on a throwing error by third baseman Jared Clark. With two outs, Felix Molina drove in Perez with an RBI single to right field.

In the fourth inning, Kansas City took total control, scoring three runs which were capped off by a two-run single from Joey Gathright. The T-Bones got two more runs in the fifth inning as Kyle Nichols connected on a two-run home run, his eighth of the season. Kansas City didn't stop there, with two runs in the sixth and three in the eighth to get to 11.

Eight T-Bones starters finished with at least two hits. Leadoff hitter Kennard Jones went three-for-six with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Kansas City got a solid start from Dustin Loggins (5-4), who made it through five innings and allowed three earned runs on six hits. In relief of Loggins, the Kansas City bullpen pitched four shutout innings led by Josh Hildebrand's two scoreless frames.

Kansas City will start Rick Zagone for just the second time this season, and the Canaries will counter with the American Association's strikeout leader Ben Moore.
