Kansas City and Laredo played a twin bill Tuesday night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. In the first game, the Lemurs took advantage of two-out opportunities and beat the T-Bones 10-4. Laredo scored nine of its runs and got nine of its 14 hits with two outs. The big blow came in the sixth, when the Lemurs scored six. Dustin Loggins, who gave up four runs and nine hits, took the loss.

Matt Padgett, Jairo Perez and Felix Molina each had two hits for Kansas City. (The T-Bones had eight in the contest.) Perez led the way with a two-for-three night that included three RBIs and one run scored. Both of his hits were doubles.

Following the nightcap, the two teams will get set for the third game of the four-game series with a special noon start on Wednesday afternoon.
