After four games on the road, the Kansas City T-Bones returned home and struggled in an 8-2 exhibition loss against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The RedHawks took advantage of Kansas City’s three defensive errors, including a two-run homer in the fifth inning by Buddy Sosnoskie, following an error on a foul popup by Matt Padgett. That gave Fargo a 5-0 lead.

After getting only three hits through five innings, the T-Bones broke through in the sixth when Padgett scored on an RBI single by Trevor Coleman. In the seventh inning, Felix Molina brought in Justin Bass, giving Kansas City its second and final run.

"I'm not overly concerned about our offense at this point," said T-Bones manager Kenny Hook. "Guys aren't getting into a two-strike approach yet. Their main focus right now is getting their timing and looking for pitches in their area, which is OK for a veteran group like we have."

The T-Bones will face the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Tuesday night at 7:05 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City’s final exhibition game of the season. Tickets are available by calling the Providence Medical Center Box Office at Community America Ballpark at 913-328-5618.
