"10 Questions" with Justin Bass

This installment of “10 Questions” features Justin Bass, the T-Bones 2012 Most Improved Player. Bass, whose dad is former Major League player Kevin Bass, was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim out of high school in Sugar Land, Texas, in the 21st round of the 2007 Amateur Draft. He spent five years in affiliated baseball before joining the T-Bones at the start of the 2012 season. After struggling early in the season, he finished with a .301 average with 116 hits and 21 stolen bases.

JB: In school, maybe playing college football.

JB: TRON Legacy.

JB: Playing on a team of really good players and good teammates.

JB: Breakfast (pancakes).

JB: My host parents, Bill and Donna Greer.

JB: Houston Texans.

9. My message to young athletes is…
JB: It takes 10,000 hours to master a craft… what are you waiting for?

JB: Jesus Christ.
