07/22/2004 2:40 PM - KANSAS CITY – The Kansas City T-Bones are making a run at the record books, the Guinness Book of World Records that is. Friday July 30th will be World Records Night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark sponsored by the Legends and Z95.7. With the help of the world’s best fans the T-Bones will attempt to set a couple of new world records. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will be given a pair of Groucho Marx glasses in hopes of breaking the record of the most people wearing Groucho Marx glasses in the same location. The next 2,000 fans into the park will be given a balloon, and then asked to pop it simultaneously in an attempt to break the record for simultaneous balloon popping.

There will also be sky divers before the game, and kids can run the bases courtesy of Bob Evans after the game. Start time for the game against the Gary Southshore Railcats is 7:05, gates open at 5:30. To reserve your tickets call 913-328-BALL (2255) or go online to tbonesbaseball.com.
