While co-hosting the former “Behind the Stats” radio show, Matt Fulks and his co-hosts would end feature interviews with what they simply called “7 Questions.” We figured in honor of the T-Bones’ 10th season in Kansas City, Fulks, the T-Bones Director of Media Relations, will add three questions as you get to know your 2012 Kansas City T-Bones.

This week’s installment of “10 Questions” features one of the new coaches in 2012, Frank White, who is one of the best second basemen in Major League history. (At least we think so.)

1. My hero growing up was...
Frank White: When you’re fortunate to have a good dad and a good mom, that’s where you start. So that’s where it starts for me. They gave me a good base, taught me to work hard and to be humble.

2. My favorite sports highlight (so far) has been…
FW: It’d have to be winning the 1985 World Series as a team highlight, but, individually, you never forget the first time you’re called up to the big leagues.

3. My favorite movie of all-time (or at least the one I watch whenever I see it on TV) is…
FW: The Color Purple.

4. My favorite TV show is…
FW: I have two right now, Criminal Minds and CSI: Miami.

5. My favorite band or musician is…
FW: Anything Motown. I’d lean toward the Temptations but there are so many great Motown artists.

6. My favorite type of food is…
FW: Really, I love all food, but I think my favorite time to eat is Thanksgiving. Besides eating a lot of food, it’s a lot of food that we don’t eat at other times of the year.

7. The team I enjoy enough that I’d buy season tickets…
FW: The Oklahoma City Thunder. I get excited about the guys they have and the way they play.

8. The thing I enjoy most about Kansas City is…
FW: The people and the easy access around town. Plus the historic aspect of the city with the background, the Union Station and Liberty Memorial.

9. My message to parents of young athletes…
FW: Be honest in your evaluation of your children. Don’t try to live your athletic career through them. And be respectful of your child’s coach.

10. The one person in history I’d love to meet is…
FW: Jackie Robinson. I’d like to have an honest conversation with him about why he went through what he did, and if he expected everything he did go through.
