07/08/2004 1:08 PM - July 8, 2004

FARGO, N. D. - An injury-depleted Kansas City lineup endured a 14-4 defeat at Fargo-Moorhead Thursday night, despite pounding out 13 hits for the game. The T-Bones started the game without sluggers Eddie Pearson, who will start in the All-Star game on July 14, Ray Brown, and Chad Shindle for the first time all year due to injuries.

Greg Bicknell (3-2) allowed four runs - two earned - in three innings before being ejected after a disputed double that plated three RedHawk runs in the third.

The T-Bones stranded seven runners in the first three innings, and didn’t get on the board until the seventh. Kansas City scored all four runs in the final three frames of the game.

Mike Hass, who was 2-for-5, singled to score Chris LePine in the seventh and C.J. Medlin hit his first home run as a T-Bone that scored Jack Jones in the following inning. LePine, who finished with three hits, smacked his third homer of the year in the ninth to close out the scoring.

The T-Bones will try to get in the win column against the Redhawks in a 7:05 game Friday night, pitting T-Bones starter Jon McDonald against Fargo starter J.J. Scheving/ Listeners can catch the game on www.tbonesbaseball.com or on All Comedy Radio 1340.
