The Kansas City T-Bones have announced the promotions of Kurt Sieker and Jason Young to the positions of assistant general manager and box office manager, respectively.

Sieker originally joined the T-Bones as an operations intern in 2008 before transitioning into the tickets department. He was promoted to director of ticket operations in January 2009, a position he has held until his recent move to assistant general manager and director of group sales.

“I would like to thank John and Adam Ehlert, along with Chris Browne, for giving me the opportunity to assume this position,” Sieker said. “I look forward to the new challenges that come with the job and fully intend on continuing the success my predecessors have established.”

Young interned under Sieker in the tickets department during the 2009 season. He then joined the full-time staff as an account executive in October that year.

“We’re excited to elevate Kurt and Jason into their new roles,” General Manager Chris Browne said. “Kurt is entering his fifth season with us and we know he’ll step up and do great in his new role. Jason, having trained under Kurt, should transition easily into his new position as well.”
