T-Bones Fall in Rubber Match, 9-506/26/2011 8:56 PM - The Kansas City T-Bones (17-25) dropped the rubber match of their three-game series against the Fort Worth Cats (18-23), 9-5, Sunday night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Santos took the loss after allowing five runs on nine hits over six innings of work. Kansas City added single tallies in the seventh and ninth innings but a four-run eighth by Fort Worth put the game out of reach. Cody White (3-2) picked up the win for the Cats with one and two-thirds perfect innings of relief. Phillip Bartleski earned his first save of the season after allowing two runs over the final four innings for the Cats. Kyle Dahman surrendered two runs on four hits over one and one-thirds innings in relief of Santos. Steven Stewart was touched for two runs on one hit in two-thirds of an inning and Trent Lare threw a perfect ninth to finish the game for Kansas City. The Kansas City T-Bones have an off-day on Monday before starting a three-game series with the Winnipeg Goldeyes (25-17) on Tuesday night. First pitch of game one is set for 7:05.
