The Kansas City T-Bones have announced their home exhibition schedule for the 2011 season, and the action begins next Friday, May 6.

On Friday, May 6 the T-Bones open the newly-transformed CommunityAmerica Ballpark against their newest rivals, the Wichita Wingnuts. First pitch of Friday’s game is set for 7:05 p.m. Kansas City then finishes the weekend with two games at home against the Lincoln Saltdogs, playing Saturday, May 7 at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, May 8 at 3:05 p.m.

For the 2011 season, CommunityAmerica Ballpark has returned to a traditional all-dirt infield. In addition, the left-field bleachers have also been removed to bring a more familiar feel back to the T-Bones home stadium.

Kansas City opens their exhibition schedule on the road at Wichita on Thursday, May 5 at 12:05 p.m. They begin their 2011 regular-season campaign against the El Paso Diablos in El Paso, TX on May 12 and will host the Gary SouthShore RailCats in their home opener on May 17.
