The 2008 Northern League Champion Kansas City T-Bones have officially clinched the chance to defend their title, and they invite all their fans out to CommunityAmerica Ballpark to join in the FUN…WELL DONE!

Kansas City will take on the Gary SouthShore RailCats in the first round of the 2009 Northern League Playoffs, with the first two games of the best-of-five series set for Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.  All tickets for those contests are general admission and are just $6 if purchased in advance.  The tickets will be $7 each if purchased on the day of the game.  Both games will start at 7:05 p.m.

For all season-ticket holders and corporate partners, a special two-game package will be available for $10 by calling the number below.  To get this special, you must purchase tickets to both contests.

The RailCats hold a 10-6 advantage against the T-Bones this season, but the clubs are an even 4-4 in Kansas City.  The last seven games between the teams have been decided by three or fewer runs, three of which were T-Bones victories.  The matchup will be a rematch of last season's championship series, which Kansas City won 3-1.

Wednesday will be T-Bones T-Shirt Night where the first 500 fans receive a T-Bones t-shirt.  Also for Wednesday, an order of wings from the concession stand will be just $2.

Thursday is Steak Night for the second game of the series, featuring 6 oz steaks for just $5.

Also, for both Wednesday and Thursday night, all small domestic draft beers will be just $2!
