Three-Game Homestand Begins Tuesday06/08/2009 10:26 AM - The Kansas City T-Bones (10-10) return home Tuesday for a short three-game set against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (8-13). This will be the first time these two teams have met since the T-Bones swept Fargo in the first round of the Northern League playoffs last season. Fargo has finished with the best regular-season record in three of the last four seasons, but the RedHawks are currently riding a seven-game losing streak entering tomorrow’s matchup. Kansas City holds a 7-7 mark at home this season, but the T-Bones have won three of their five home series in 2009. The games on Tuesday and Wednesday are set for 7:05 starts. Tuesday is giveaway night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark where fans will receive a special Verizon Wireless baseball as they enter the gates. Also, don’t forget to bring your glove on Wednesday for Post-Game Catch on the Field! Thursday marks the second day game of the season with first pitch set for 11:05. Gates open at 9:30 and kids are invited to head down on the field for a reading session with T-Bones players. It is also Family Day presented by The Kansas City Star, which means that for just $40 fans can get four tickets, four hot dogs, four peanuts and four sodas. Tickets to all T-Bones games are still available and start at just $6! Season and group tickets are available as well.
