T-Bones Prepare for 10-Game Homestand

The T-Bones took two of three from the Goldeyes this weekend, winning their second straight series and pushing their record to 5-3.  Now, Kansas City prepares to welcome three teams into CommunityAmerica Ballpark, starting with a three-game series against the Joliet JackHammers tomorrow night.

Tomorrow night, the first 1,000 kids 14 and under will receive a Scoopie Plush Doll courtesy of Culver’s.  It is also Polio Eradication Night brought to you by the Village West Rotary Club.

Wednesday night is Animal Awareness Night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.  Fans who bring a picture of themselves and their dog will receive two-for-one KCI High-Fly Zone bleacher reserved tickets.  Animal adoption agencies will also be on hand to discuss the adoption process with fans.

Thursday is Kansas City Star Family Night where fans can purchase four KCI High-Fly Zone bleacher reserved tickets, four hot dogs, four peanuts and four sodas for $45; or four berm tickets, four hot dogs, four peanuts and four sodas for $40.

When the Schaumburg Flyers come to town for a three-game series on Friday, they will hopefully see thousands of T-Bones fans decked out in their best Western outfits on Western Night presented by Kansas Lottery.  Any fan who dresses up will receive two-for-one KCI High-Fly Zone bleacher reserved tickets.  There will also be a Meet the Champions Post-Game Autograph session following the game with select T-Bones players.

Following a post-game fireworks display presented by Verizon Wireless on Saturday, the first 1,000 fans on Sunday will receive cowbells courtesy of Kryger Glass.  C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) will also have a display for the Forgotten Children Campaign while Myron Noodleman performs in-game.

Winnipeg comes to town on Monday to finish off the homestand with four games, including a Tuesday night doubleheader that begins at 6:05.  Both games are seven-inning contests.  The first 1,500 fans to that game will receive a baseball courtesy of Verizon Wireless.

The homestand ends on Wednesday with the first day game of the season.  First pitch is set for 11:05.  Gates open at 9:30 and kids will be allowed on the field before the game for a reading session with T-Bones players.
