Earlier this offseason the Kansas City T-Bones asked their fans for new and exciting ideas for a between-innings promotion.  As usual, the fans came through!  We received a lot of entries in this contest; and while a quite a few stood out, only one could be chosen.  So thank you to everyone who participated, and a special thank you to Jim Sloss for the winning idea:

"'Wii' Will Rock You" will feature one or two lucky contestants from the crowd.  They will compete on the video board in a game of Wii Baseball while Queen’s "We Will Rock You" plays in the background.

Jim and his wife Janette own KC Sign Pro, located in Mission, KS.  Jim also spends time as the “Voice of the Staley High School Falcons.”

“I think with today’s video game mentality, you will have no problem finding contestants,” Jim said in his winning email.  “Who wouldn’t want to play Wii Baseball on a big screen while Queen is blaring!”
