Want to be a T-Bone for 2004?

04/19/2004 9:38 AM - Ever dreamed of playing professional baseball for a living? Want to see if you can get that zip back on the old fastball? Well, start training now. The Kansas City T-Bones are proud to announce that their second annual tryout camp will be taking place May 1st and 2nd, 2004, at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, KS.

Tryouts will start at 9 am on May 1st, with pre-registered players signing in beginning at 9 am. There is a $25 fee to pre-register, and the registration form can be reached by clicking this link.

Baseballs will be provided, but players must bring all other necessary equipment (pants, spikes, gloves, etc.). All players will have the opportunity to take part in a simulated game; in addition to this, position players will take batting practice and run a sixty-yard dash, while pitchers will throw in the bullpen. Players who still have college eligibility are not recommended to attend the tryout camp, as this can jeopardize their remaining eligibility.

Over 180 players tried out for the privilege of playing in CommunityAmerica Ballpark last season. Join the T-Bones and give it a shot in 2004!
