Eric Marshall Promoted to Assistant General Manager

11/14/2008 9:00 AM -
The T-Bones announced that former director of corporate partnerships and group sales Eric Marshall has been promoted to assistant general manager.
“I just want to thank John and Adam Ehlert as well as Chris Browne for having the confidence in me to assume this position with a first-class organization,” said Marshall.
“Marshall has been a consummate professional on many levels,” said Browne, “whether it be dealing with our staff, sponsors, fans or other clients.”
Marshall has been a part of the T-Bones organization since January 2006. He began in the ticket department that spring and stayed with the team through the summer working in group sales. Following the ’06 season he was named sales coordinator for the T-Bones, a position he held until the start of the 2007 season. He was then named the director of corporate partnerships before adding the title director of group sales prior to the 2008 campaign.
“Eric is a dynamic individual that brings us progressive and fresh thoughts coinciding with the evolving trends in our industry and other sports organizations,” added Browne.
Marshall added, “I’ve had the opportunity to learn a great deal from my predecessors and I look forward to the new challenges this position brings.”
The position of assistant general manager was vacated when current general manager Chris Browne was promoted last month. Marshall is just the second assistant general manager in the team’s seven year history. Marshall graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management in May 2006 from the University of Kansas.
Browne closed with, “We look forward to seeing continued success in his new role.”
