T-Bones Office Predictions Looking Grim

10/27/2008 2:12 PM -
Six out of the 10 T-Bones front office staff members that were polled selected the Tampa Bay Rays to be the 2008 World Series Champions but it would appear that prediction is looking unlikely. The Rays currently trail the Philadelphia Phillies in the series three games-to-one.
When questioned about her team’s performance, director of ticket operations and fair-weather fan Sarah Keel said, “They aren’t my team because I’m in the middle.” She went on to blame her co-worker for making her chose a team.
The Phillies broke free last night scoring 10 times to beat the Rays 10-2.
Laura Hayes, the T-Bones director of merchandise said, “I knew this was gonna happen. That’s why I picked them.”
Tampa sends Scott Kazmir to the mound against Cole Hamels to try and get the series back to St. Petersburg. Tonight’s first pitch in Philadelphia is scheduled for 7:00.
“I’m quoteless,” said director of corporate partnerships Eric Marshall. “I’m disappointed but Kazmir is going to right the ship tonight.”
