Wizards face Revs in first of home-and-home

The Kansas City Wizards and New England Revolution meet for the first game of a home-and-home series over the final three weeks of the season that will have a profound effect on the MLS Cup Playoffs race. The Revolution have secured their place in the top eight; they are now trying to maintain home-field advantage for the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Wizards are trying to use this three-game homestand to vault into a postseason berth; they are a point outside entering the week. It's the first meeting since April for the clubs, when the Revolution were just one of two teams to win at CommunityAmerica Ballpark this season.
