The T-Bones used a miraculous comeback Tuesday night to even the series at a game a piece as the two teams travel to Gary for final three games of the best-of-five series.

 

This series start is very similar to the first round series the RailCats had against the Goldeyes. They lost the second game after winning the first then went on to win the final two games on the road to take the series.

 

Kansas City used a grand slam by Craig Hurba to pull within one against Cogan then another grand slam, the second by Bo Hart to take an 11-7 lead. The T-Bones got an additional run late to cap the scoring at 12-7.

 

Chris Rhoads had a shaky start for the T-Bones but got off the hook with a no decision in his second postseason start.

 

The T-Bones and RailCats play game three U.S. Steel Yard in Gary beginning at 7:00 on Friday night. Right hander Kenny Durost starts for the T-Bones against lefty Brian Forystek for the ‘Cats.
