08/13/2008 8:00 AM - Lois and Don Flinn, Gladstone, Mo., received T-Bones season tickets from their son as a Christmas gift six years ago.  Ever since the Flinn’s first season with the T-Bones, they have renewed their tickets each season. 

“It’s something good for the two of us to do,” Lois said.  The Flinn’s also like the accessibility of the ballpark and its small, friendly community environment. 

The on-field promotions, some old and some new, are one of the Flinn’s ballpark favorites.  Their two new favorites this season are the Mascot Race and the Wendy’s Frosty T-shirt Race.

As for previous promotions, “I always liked the beer run the best,” Don said.  Lois and Don want to see the Dizzy Bat Race come back, but only open to the kids.  “The kids are fun to watch and it’s such a humorous situation to see from the stands,” Don said.
