GARY, Ind. – The Gary SouthShore RailCats continued their success against Anthony Snow tonight as they took game one of a three-game series against the Kansas City T-Bones, 10-5, at U.S. Steel Yard.

Gary picked up their first tally against Snow when an RBI double from Tanner Townsend plated Rob Marconi in the first inning.  After going down in order in the second, the RailCats picked up five more runs on six hits in the third, two coming on a double by Mike Rohde to give Gary a 6-1 lead after three.  Kansas City scored their first run against Drew Dickinson in the top of the frame on an RBI single by Aharon Eggleston.

The T-Bones added two more runs on a double from Neb Brown in the top of the fourth to pull within three.  Gary responded with three more tallies on four hits in the bottom of the inning, two scoring on a double by Steve Haake as they gained a 9-3 advantage.

The RailCats plated their final run against Snow in the fifth on an RBI single by Eric Blakeley.  Snow threw a scoreless sixth to end his outing as he surrendered 10 runs on 15 hits as he dropped to 5-5 on the season.  He threw 154 pitches on the night while falling to 0-3 in three starts against Gary this season.

Dickinson left after five innings as he allowed three runs on four hits in the win.  Brian Forystek faced just three batters before giving way to Brandon Higelin with two outs in the sixth.  The T-Bones picked up two runs off Higelin in the seventh on RBI singles from Greg Jacobs and Jim Fasano to push the score to 10-5.

Brady Martinez retired all four batters he faced in relief of Snow.  Payton Tweddale sandwiched a single between the final two RailCat outs after entering for Martinez in the eighth.

The two teams face off again tomorrow as Chris Shaver makes his first appearance for Kansas City opposite Tony Cogan for the RailCats.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:05.
