08/06/2008 8:00 AM - Birthdays and wedding anniversaries are two favorite celebrations that Charles and Sharon Winegar, Kansas City, Kan., enjoy while attending a T-Bones baseball game.  For the couple’s 44th wedding anniversary, they treated themselves to a day game at CommunityAmerica Ballpark with dinner in the evening. 

Sharon also celebrated a past birthday with her husband and family.  One of her sons traveled all the way from Columbus, Ohio, to take part in the evening’s festivities. 

“There’s no better way to spend a birthday or anniversary than at a T-Bones game,” Sharon said. 

The Winegars enjoy the T-Bones baseball season, but find it difficult to pull through the lull of the winter months.

“Charles awaits the long winters in patience for the [T-Bones] season to start,” Sharon said.

The Winegars miss the collectible T-Bones bobble heads.  They thought maybe a newer player, such as Jim Fasano, could be the next collectible item, or even different varieties of Sizzle’s traditional actions.
