08/01/2008 8:00 AM - The T-Bones have partnered with the greater Kansas City affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to bring you Breast Cancer Awareness Day at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Sunday, August 3.  Come enjoy a game of T-Bones baseball, with first pitched scheduled for 5:05, and help support the fight against breast cancer.
 

During the game, there will be a silent auction of the special black and pink jerseys the players will wear that night.  Fans can bid on the jerseys at the promotions table located on the third base side of the concourse throughout the game.  The funds collected from the auction will be donated to the Komen Foundation of Kansas City.  Komen will have a table set up on the concourse as well to provide you with more information about the Race for the Cure.

 
Part of your game ticket purchase will be contributed to Komen.  You will find special black hats and pink shirts available at the Meatlocker on gameday as well.  The T-Bones will graciously donate part of those sales to the foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
