07/31/2008 8:00 AM - Leroy Wheat played for the Athletics organization his entire career.  Wheat played for Philadelphia in 1954 before the organization moved to Kansas City in 1955.  He made 11 career appearances and complied a 0-2 record.  Wheat was scheduled to attend the KC A’s event, Saturday, August 16 but passed away earlier this week at 79 years old.
